Logistics/Order Packer
We have a position available in our main kitchen (7712 E. 11th Street) helping us sort through all the items we make and get them out to our stores to fill orders with. This person works from 3am to 11am Tuesday through Saturday (works until ~2pm on Sat). Tasks include checking items off production lists, verifying quantities, communicating outstanding needs to our staff, and ensuring only amazing quality products make it to our customers. A detail-oriented completionist with reasonable social skills and a ease with computers will be able to excel in this role. We do have a big building, so have good running shoes and be able to run around! Dishwasher
We're looking for a quick, tough and detailed person to help clean up our tasty messes! We have lots of dishes, pans and tools to scrub along with floors, tables and equipment. There is some moving of heavy dishes, supplies & equipment, so you'll need to be able to lift 50 lbs without any trouble. This full-time position works at our 11th & Memorial building from 10am to around 6-7pm Tuesday through Saturday with Sundays always off. Its a good, stable position that ain't glorious, but is honest work for a conscientious person!
Pastry Assembly
We need quick, cooperative, & multi-tasking people to make non-customized pastries, pies & cakes! This is a great starting position into cake arts if you have some basic skills. To have the best chance to succeed some experience with cake icing, bag work and formulaic production is recommended, but not required. Our pastry folks make a lot of different items really quickly every day, so you need to love jumping from one thing to the next and keeping up with a lot of details!
Production Baker
We are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of baked goods. Baker responsibilities scaling, mixing, preparing fillings and finishing baked goods. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker in a commercial kitchen and be knowledgeable of general baking techniques. Several schedules are available but generally are early morning to midday. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer amazing baked goods to our customers on a daily basis. Starting pay would be commensurate with experience, quality of work and speed.
